One of the great things about the new Chevy Volt is its ability to run on two different sources of energy. The electric power source (battery) allows you to drive gas free, which offers an estimated 35MPG. In addition to charging at home, it has an onboard gas generator that produces electricity. This allows you to travel an additional 375 miles on a full tank of gas. Finally, Chevrolet puts you in total control over choosing to drive using only electricity from the internal battery, or a combination of gasoline and electricity.

	Advanced…yet simple: Anyone can drive a Volt, because there are no special technical skills needed …the car knows what it needs, and then it lets you know. There are small differences such as: instead of turning a key, you push a blue button. There are no dials and needles, just two interactive LCD screens for feedback based on your driving style. There are three driving modes: Normal Mode: Drives like a conventional car, but more efficient Sport Mode: Drivers get more intense feedback and response Mountain Mode: Maintains a power reserve for steep grades

Approximate $1.50 a day for charging: You can fully charge your Volt and drive an EPA -estimated 35 miles gas free. That’s less than the price of a cappuccino!! You can choose a standard 120V charging kit that plugs into a conventional electric outlet, and your battery will be fully charged in about 10 hours. There is also a 240V charging station that reduces your charging time to four hours. (Requires professional installation).

	Helpful App: You can download the OnStar RemoteLink app and see the battery level and charge mode on your smart phone. You can remotely confirm that the car is plugged in or you can schedule a future charging time.

	Instant Torque @ zero: Without a tradition transmission, the torque has nowhere to go but tires and asphalt. That’s why it feels so powerful. Volt can reach a test-track speed of 100 mph.

	Driving Force: The Volt is powered by a 16kWh lithium-ion battery pack. If the battery runs low, the Volt automatically changes to a unique gasoline range. Rest assured, you always have a backup plan. Chevy Volt has an 8 year/100,000 mile Battery and Voltec Component Limited Warranty.
