The interior and exterior are the most visible areas, and when professionally detailed by our Maple Shade Auto Detailers, you’ll feel confident in driving your vehicle anywhere. The process we follow when detailing the interior of your car is one of the best in South Jersey and Philadelphia. Our professional auto detailers begin with the deepest areas of the interior and work their way outward, continually pushing the dirt to the outside of the car. Of course we can simply vacuum, but that’s last!

INTERIOR

Classic Detailed Interior
  • The header is wiped and brushed for dust and loose fibers that fall on your dashboard.
  • Headrest and seat upholstery are also brushed down to loosen fibers and small particles.
  • If you have seat covers, we remove them, shake, shampoo if needed, and vacuum them.
  • The windows, mirrors, and any type of screen, are thoroughly wiped or cleaned.
  • The dashboard and vents are cleaned, treated, and in some cases polished.
  • Steering wheel, door handles, and other well-handled areas are degreased and treated.
  • Removal of stains from upholstery/carpet is attempted; some cases need extra treatment.
  • Shampooing of the upholstery/carpet and floor mats.
  • Finally, the car is vacuumed.

EXTERIOR

Cleaning the exterior is not as difficult as the interior, but it is as tedious a job. It involves cleaning, striping, wiping, scrubbing, pressure washing, polishing, and buffing everything from your tires on up to the tip of your cellular antenna.

  • Our auto detailers begin by allowing your tires and wheels to soak, loosening brake dust and oils from the road.
  • They spray the engine compartment, wheels, and wheel wells with a non-corrosive eco-friendly detergent.
  • Next, they apply a light pressure wash to the engine, body, tires and wheels.
  • Using only special cloths, the body is gently washed.
  • High volume air blowers are the safest way to dry the car, keeping the paint surface scratch free.
  • The doorjambs are cleaned and wiped dry.
  • If needed, tar, road grime, tree sap, and bugs are removed from the side body panels.
  • In some cases, a clay bar is used to remove debris from the clearcoat.
  • Depending on the level of detailing required, defects are corrected (fine scratches) in the clearcoat simply by removing a layer.
  • Lastly, the application of a protective wax is essential to maintaining the protection of the car’s paint and keeping that deep shine originating from the factory.

PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR (PDR)

If your vehicle is in need of minor dent repair, please inquire about our Paintless Dent Repair. Our detailers will examine the dent and decide if the process can be done. The most common use for this process is when you have minor door or bumper dents. These can be unsightly, but if there is paint damage the process might require a little touch-up paint.

One of the limitations to this process is the flexibility of the original paint, and the extent that the metal was stretched at the time of denting the area. Areas, which have a sharp point or crease, cannot usually be repaired with PDR and again might require a more work. Let our specialist examine the area and advise you on the available options.
